My sister-in-law sent me a picture of an adorable high chair tutu for my niece’s first birthday and I had left over tulle from my bridal shower so I decided to make one.
Materials
- Tulle (I used tulle that came on a cylinder from Michael’s)
- Pink thread
- Pink ribbon (I used 1 1/2 inch ribbon)
- Safety pin
- Scissors
- Sewing Machine
- Leaving the tulle on the tube it came on, sew a 2inch casing from the folded edge of the Tulle. (it took about 1.5 bobbins so be prepared for it to run out close to the end.
- Put the safety pin on the end of the ribbon and thread the ribbon through leaving ends at each side. This did take an hour to thread it.
- Tie the tutu onto the highchair and enjoy!
