DIY High Chair Tutu

My sister-in-law sent me a picture of an adorable high chair tutu for my niece’s first birthday and I had left over tulle from my bridal shower so I decided to make one.

Materials

  • Tulle (I used tulle that came on a cylinder from Michael’s)
  • Pink thread
  • Pink ribbon (I used 1 1/2 inch ribbon)
  • Safety pin
  • Scissors
  • Sewing Machine
  1. Leaving the tulle on the tube it came on, sew a 2inch casing from the folded edge of the Tulle. (it took about 1.5 bobbins so be prepared for it to run out close to the end.
  2. Put the safety pin on the end of the ribbon and thread the ribbon through leaving ends at each side. This did take an hour to thread it.
  3. Tie the tutu onto the highchair and enjoy!
