The one thing that I HATE about my house is the classic oak doors and trims on our 2nd floor. Painting the doors and trim is on my to do list but I wanted a quick fix for my sewing room. On a Target shopping trip I found removeable wall paper and decided to cover my closet doors.
Supplies:
- Closet doors
- Wash Cloths
- Fantastic Spray
- 2 Rolls of Removeable Wallpaper (I bought mine at Target)
- New door knobs (Mine came from Anthro)
- Glue Spray
Steps:
- Remove the closet doors
- Clean them using fantastic spray and a wash cloth and let dry.
- Cut the wallpaper down to the size of the door, leaving enough room to cover the top and bottom of the doors.
- The wallpaper wouldn’t stick to the top or bottom of my doors since they are unfinished edges, so I used the glue spray to stick the wallpaper to the top and bottom of the doors.
- Once the glue spray is dry, put the doors back on the closet
- Using the screw of the knobs I poked a hole through the wallpaper where the knob hole is and put then screwed the knobs on.
- Enjoy your new closet doors that aren’t classic oak!
