The first anniversary is the paper anniversary. I decided to recreate a wedding picture as a paper collage.
Supplies:
- Shadow box Frame – I got mine from Michael’s.
- Scrapbook Paper
- Elmer’s Glue
- Q-Tips
- Scissors
- Picture for inspiration
Steps:
- Cut the background to the size of the frame.
- Tape the background to the back of the frame.
- For the clouds I used some Q-tips fluff and glued it down.
- Cut the mid ground out, for mine it was the Sedona Red Rocks. I couldn’t find the correct color paper so I used cream colored paper and painted them to the correct colors and added some shading.
- Cut out the foreground, I used three shades of green to create the shading effect.
- For Matt and myself, I used my Cricut to cut out a couple holding hands.
- I cut out the clothing tracing the people to use as a template.
- I painted the detailing on the dress and the hair on the bride and groom.
- Once everything is cut out and fits together, glue everything down.
